Daily Life – Vocabulary(ইংরেজি to বাংলা)

ইংরেজি আমাদের কি পরিমান দরকার তা আমদের কারও অজানা নয়। যদি আমারা ইংরেজি তে ভাল হইতে চাই তবে অবশ্যই আমাদের Vocabulary তে ভাল হইতে হবে এবং অনেক Vocabulary জানতে হবে, এখানে আমরা এমন সব Vocabulary পোস্ট করব যা আমাদের প্রতিদিনের জীবনযাত্রায় দরকার হয় এবং যা আমারা বিভিন্ন জায়গায় দেখি শুনি যেমন ইংরেজি পত্রিকায়,ইংরেজি ম্যাগাজিনে ইত্যাদি এবং যেগুলা বিভিন্ন পরীক্ষায় আপনার কাজে লাগবে (যেমন BCS , Admissions Job exams etc)। এখানে আমরা নিয়মিত Vocabulary পোস্ট করব এবং যদি আপনারা আমাদের সাথে থাকেন তবে অবশ্যই আপনাদের উপকার হবে। বেশিরভাগ Vocabulary নেয়া হবে বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন ইংরেজি পত্রিকা ,ইংরেজি ম্যাগাজিন ইত্যাদি থেকে।

কিছু ইংরেজি শব্দের মজার তথ্য (funny English word)

►80 কে letter marks বলা হ্য় কারণ L=12, E=5, T=20, T=20, E=5, R=18(অক্ষরের অবস্হানগত সংখ্যা) সুতরাং 12 5 20 20 5 18=80

►ইংরেজি madam ও reviver শব্দকে উল্টো করে পড়লে একই হবে।
►“a quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” বাক্যটিতে ইংরেজি ২৬টি অক্ষর আছে।
►“ i am” সবচেয়ে ছোট ইংরেজি বাক্য।
►“Education” ও “Favourite” শব্দে সবগুলো vowel আছে।
►“Abstemious ও Facetious ” শব্দে সবগুলো vowel আছে। মজার ব্যাপার হল শব্দের vowel গুলো ক্রমানুসারে ( a-e-i-o-u) আছে।
►ইংরেজি Q দিয়ে গঠিত সকল শব্দে Q এর পরে u আছে।
►একই অক্ষরের পুনরাবৃত্তি না করে সবচেয়ে দীর্ঘ শব্দ হল Uncopyrightable।
►Rhythm সবচেয়ে দীঘ ইংরেজি শব্দ যার মধ্যে vowel নাই।
►Floccinaucinihilipilification সবচেয়ে বেশি vowel সমৃদ্ধ শব্দ যাতে ১৮টি vowel আছে।
►vowel যুক্ত সবচেয়ে ছোট শব্দ হল A (একটি) ও I (আমি) ।

►গুপ্তহত্যার ইংরেজি প্রতিশব্দ Assassination মনে রাখার সহজ উপায়হল গাধা-গাধা-আমি-জাতি।

►“Uncomplimentary” শব্দে সবগুলো vowel আছে। মজার ব্যাপার হলশব্দের vowel গুলো উল্টো ক্রমানুসারে ( u-o-i-e-a) আছে।
►“Exclusionary” ৫টি vowel সমৃদ্ধ এমন একটি শব্দ যার মধ্যে কোন অক্ষরের পূনারাবৃত্তি নাই।

ইংলিশ রাইটিং এর গুরু হওয়ার একটা ছোট্র টিপ। মেমোরাইজড করে রাখুন আর রাইটার দের মত করে লিখুন।

আমি সাজেস্ট করবো শীট আকারে প্রিণ্ট করে, বাসায় এমন এক জায়গায় লাগিয়ে রাখেন যেন আপনার মুখস্থ হয়ে যায় নিজের অজান্তে। পড়ার টেবিলে রাখবেন বলে চিন্তা করে ফেলেছেন? না, এটা করবেন না। কারন আমরা এতোটা পড়িনা, যখন পড়ার সময় আসে তখন এটা দেখার টাইম পাবেন না।  

কম্পিটারের আশেপাশে রেখে দিলেই কেল্লা ফতে। আর নতুবা কমন দরজায় লাগিয়ে রাখুন। ৬ মাস পর এর ফলাফল পাবেন।
*ট্রানজিশনাল ফ্রেইজ বলা হয় এদেরকে, যাদের স্টুডেন্ট বা ছোট ভাই বোন আছে তাদের উপরো এপ্লাই করতে পারেন।
* আরেকটি বড় এবং বিশেষ দিক হচ্ছে আরটিকেল নিজের এবং অন্যের জন্যে অথবা পেশাদারিত্যেও লিখার প্রয়োজন পরছে প্রতিনিয়ত।
* ফ্রিলেন্সার ভাইদের জন্যেও কাজে আসবে বলে আশা রাখি।
আমি প্রত্যেকটা সেগমেন্টকে টাইটেল এ আলাদাই রেখেছি , কিছু নিজের ইচ্ছামত অদল-বদল করিনি, আপনিও করবেন না আশা করি। এভাবেই প্রিন্ট দিয়ে নিন। কম্পিটার এ রেখে দিয়েন না তাহলে আর মেমরি করা লাগবে না, নেহায়েত হবেও না। আর কথা না বাড়িয়ে কাজে নেমে পরি। এই নেন।
